Arrival at Duisburg central station:
Various train connections are available from Düsseldorf Airport to Duisburg city center. The train station is located on the east side of the airport. The SkyTrain, a fully automatic cabin railway, will take you straight from the terminal to the station building.
The ticket machine is located at the Sky Train station. To get to Duisburg city center you need a ticket for fare zone B. The fare is for regional trains only (RE or S-Bahn) and does not include intercity express (ICE or IC). The one-way ticket fare is 6,40 €.
The trip from the airport to the Duisburg city center takes about 10 minutes.

The city railway station is directly attached to the airport, simple follow the signs. Tickets can be bought on the way to the platforms in a DB shop. Train RE1/2/5/6/11 takes about 10 min. to Duisburg central station.
